Cosmo Blog Awards

It feels really cheeky to be asking as I’ve only been around for a few months, buuuuuuut, I’ve just discovered that Cosmopolitan magazine is running a blog competition.

I’ve already nominated myself (which seems very weird and un-British!) but if any of you lovely readers feel like nominating me too, that would be dreamy.

Here is the link – http://www.cosmopolitan.co.uk/_mobile/blogs/cosmopolitan-blog-awards-2014/enter

If I then get selected as an official nominee, there’ll be a chance to vote for me as the winner (eeeeek) in July.

I’m having so much fun with this blog (really!) and it would be great if I could get some more of you happy campers on board (which is really what winning awards is all about).

For any of you fellow bloggers, if you post a comment saying you’ve nominated me, then I’ll do a big old reblog (and if that sounds a bit like a bribe, you’d be wrong. Ok?…).

Blogging Etiquette

I’m new, brand new, to this whole blogging malarkey and sometimes I panic that there are some informal ‘rules’ that I’m breaking.

For instance, if someone ‘follows’ you, do you reciprocate regardless?

Obviously I’ll always try to respond to a comment; I mean, I love a chat and the proof that someone is actually reading.

But do you ‘like’ for ‘like’? Or ‘share’ for ‘share’?

I guess until someone tells me different (or starts yelling at me online!), I’ll just keep doing my own thing. (Please don’t tell at me!)
