I can get a bit, ok, very obsessed with things, and the new collection that’s just hit Accessorize is one of them. I wish I could tell you they’re paying me or giving me loads of freebies to write this, but sadly, this is 100% non advertising based…
So, here’s the score – they’ve collaborated with Zara Simon, a graduate of Central Saint Martins (which is one of the best unis in the world for fashion, design and so on. Coincidentally, Brother James studied there too. So he’s pretty much a big deal), to create a gorgeous range of gold plated jewellery. There are rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces to choose from, and I’m not joking when I say I could buy all of it. All of it!
Delicate gold jewellery is a bit of a ‘thing’ at the moment, and as great as it is to snap up an £8 bargain chain from Topshop, inevitably, after a few showers, or even just a few hot days, the chain is looking less gold, and more green… So gold-plated is great, as far as I’m concerned, and even better, the Z range isn’t expensive either.
There’s a real hippy boho vibe to the collection, but it’s also sophisticated with delicate CZ encrusted rings and necklaces. I’ve already treated myself to two things, as well as sorted out several birthday presents for friends. If you get a chance, pop to your local Accessorize and have a browse, or go online here – http://uk.accessorize.com/uk/jewellery/z-for-accessorize?sort=bestSeller&showAll=true&pageSize=500. I almost guarantee you’ll end up with something.
Here are a few of my favourites.
