Daddy, what did you do in the war?

Today is the anniversary of the D-Day landings. I know that none of my family were involved directly, however, they all played their part in WWII. I’m fascinated by the war, ancestry and history in general, so today I meld the three together in a celebration.

Love the blog – but just do you know, Grandma Cliff wasn’t only a housewife (they were married in 1942, so during the war) but she was a primary school teacher who kept on teaching throughout the war! xx
