Big Brother

Quite simply a brilliant exploration of our differing relationships with food. From the morbidly obese Edison to the fat phobic Fletcher with ‘middle-aged spread’ Pandora, it’s a fascinating insight, while also weaving itself around a gripping plot and clever witty writing.

I’ve never read any other of Lionel Shriver’s books but judging by this, I now might actually read We Need to Talk About Kevin which I’ve steadfastly ignored for years.
